We've done this trip before and enjoyed it so much we decided to do it again. As before it was a great excursion to do, I was even more happier when our driver showed up at the hotel, and it was the same driver Rui from last year. Obviously for us the highlight was the wine tasting. This time we didn't walk through the winery, but that suited us as we got into the tasting room and onto the wine. Who knows maybe even do it again next year.

First of all thank you to Ruben for a wonderful day. He was at all times courteous and friendly and above all professional. The tour was made even more enjoyable by his extensive knowledge of the Island. The highlight of the day for us was the vineyard tour and Wine Tasting. This part of the tour was led by Carla who is extremely knowledgeable and a joy to talk to. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

Serra d’Agua

Rui our driver turned up spot on time, and immediately he puts you at ease . His enthusiasm pours out of him. My head was a wee bit tender from the lastnight, so wasn't looking forward to it, luckily as we were picked up first I got shotgun. After collecting all passengers we were off to the skywalk. Spectacular views, but glad there wasn't an admission fee. We've done it got the T shirt. The roof was opened on the land drover and when we went off road I was sorry I jumped in the front seat. The scenery is spectacular. We next had a stop at a old limestone mine, interesting and must have been a back breaking job for the old guys who worked the mine. It was getting chilly by this time so if your wife asks "will I take a jacket" do it Finally the winery. The tour guide has the same enthusiasm as Rui, and I could have listened to her every day of the week. "The real reason I was there" while we sampled 5 wines bought 2 with cheese and meat cuts.
