Full description

On this night tour, after pickup at your hotel or accomodation in Funchal, you head dowtown to the main avenue near the sea. Passing through the old town, city hall, main cathedral, city court, farmers market, municipal garden, central square, and the hotel area, you can enjoy the beautiful way the streets and buildings are decorated for the holiday season. After the tour it is possible to drop you off back at your hotel or in the city center. This tour takes about 1h30 and in some spots it is possible to stop to take pictures. This tour will take place in a VW Beetle cabriolet with the top down or in a VW bus/kombi.

It was fantastic! The best bit of our holiday it was just wonderful and so glad we got the last night of the lights. Guide made us very welcome and we felt special from start to finish. If you’re coming to the island hire Leonard it’s brilliant. On time, polite, helpful and informative x would give more that 5 stars if I could will do this again!!

We throughly enjoyed our night tour of the Christmas lights around Funchal and got to see places that we would have never walked to, and our driver pointed out places of interest, the car a VW beetle open top was great such a fantastic experience,could recommend to any one wanting to do a night tour of the lights.

An interesting tour of the streets of Lido and Funchal where driving is possible. In addition to the main streets, you drove in small alleys, and higher up the slopes, so you got both the scenery and an overview of this spectacle of thousands of lights. Warm up and a blanket on your shoulders and you can enjoy even the most spectacular views.
