no German-speaking guide- nevertheless nice tour

We had expressly booked a tour with a German-speaking guide. Shortly before the tour, too late for the free cancellation, we found out that they didn't have a German-speaking guide at all. The tour was therefore only possible in English. But the tour itself was still nice and fun, thanks to Miguel, even if we only understood half of his explanations. He showed us corners that we would never have seen and responded to our wishes, for example we wanted to be let out on the cable car to Monte on the way back... no problem at all for him.

Absolutely fantastic!!

We booked this independently as our cruise line was more expensive for only half the time! Booking on line was simple.. confirmation e mail came through immediately, with information to see them on the day. Even when friends wanted to join us and I called them to see if this was possible, it was no trouble and two Tuk Tuks turned up on the day.. The guys were brilliant and took us to some interesting places, including the local market. They were friendly, chatty and made our couple of hours really enjoyable! They were flexible and asked us if there was anywhere we wanted to go specially, which made the whole experience very relaxed and enjoyable for all of us. I would certainly recommend using them to anyone going to Madeira..... in fact we are back there next October on route to the Caribbean and will be booking up their larger vehicle which looked lovely! Go with these guys, they are fantastic!!

We booked our tour with Carla, what an absolute ray of sunshine! She picked us up really close from where we were staying and took us on the tuk tuk adventure. For a Sunday activity, where everything seems to be closed, booking this trip is a great idea to begin the day. Carla was very sweet and caring and shared many great recommandation and information about the island. We wished we booked this early in our trip to have a better idea on the island to plan accordingly. 10/10 would recommand.
