My partner and I had an awesome time on our whale/dolphin watching trip! The crew were very informative, friendly and professional, and we saw quite a few pilot whales which was amazing to see! The other reason this trip was so great is that I didn’t get seasick. If, like me, you tend to get seasick on whale watching trips, I’d highly recommend booking this tour and going by speedboat. It is SO much better than the bigger boats that sway side to side, not to mention faster!

The tour was pretty enjoyable. Being on a speedboat allows one to get much closer to the water surface, right by the dolphins. Was on a 1pm tour and we managed to catch two different pods of dolphins - common and striped - hunting. Also managed to witness a peek of a whale surfacing for air from a distance. The tour which was slated to be 2-2.5 hours eventually took 3 hours as we waited out for the whale to surface.

Can’t recommend enough this amazing fantastic fabulous tour! The caption and the staff are super supportive and friendly, the staff who is also a marine biologist gave super clear and knowledgeable explanations on the whales and dolphins we met. And she helped us put GoPro into the sea to capture the videos of the whale! Sooooooo great! Was our best experience in Madeira!
