Enjoy the beautiful Madeira Sunrise from the highest Madeira mountain peak, Pico Ruivo. At 1862 meters, (6,106 feet) high, it provides some of the most incredible views of the island from coast to coast. If the weather is clear, you'll have amazing views of the whole island by night. You'll be picked up at your hotel around 4:00 and taken to the north east of Madeira, Achada do Teixeira, at 1535 meters. Then your adventure begins, hiking around 1 hour to the highest Madeira peak with certified mountain guides. Once you reach the top, count down and wait for the beautiful colors of the sunrise. Guests are recommend to bring warm clothing for extremely cold conditions, and a rain coat (just in case).
