I’d seen this trip on TV before we visited and it did not disappoint! Diogo was our guide and he was on time and extremely pleasant. He looked after us really well and we were the first ones up the mountain which was exciting! We were very lucky with the weather, arrived in the pitch black dark, sat, freezing in our chairs with our hot coffees and watched the sun come up over the island and clouds! It’s awesome and then once the sun was up we skipped about admiring the stunning views. A really magical experience. Diogo gave us as much time as we wanted to explore both aspects from the mountain top.

Brito was our excellent guide. He carefully guided us to a private plateau. He provided, chairs. blankets, head torches and hot coffee. We were lucky enough to see a spectacular sunrise push it’s way through the cloud on the horizon. Thank you Brito you made it a memorable day for all 4 of us.
