This tour was so much fun! Cruising around in a 4x4 landrover might not be for everyones stomach as it can get pretty rough sometimes with all the narrow and bumpy roads. Our guide Francisco showed us so many beautiful places and gave us a lot of interesting insights of Madeira. During the short offroad with open roof you might get a little dirty but we didnt mind. The experience was totally worth it! Thank you for an awesome trip :)

Gil showed us around the island with this tour. Amazing top guy, very funny and very knowledgeable about the island. Took us to the places mentioned in the itinerary & gave us plenty of time there. Would cater to anyone and everyone's needs. We got picked up exactly on time and dropped off exactly on time. The tour was 8 hours and he made it very smooth. Driving was great and just an all round great experience. Recommend for anyone visiting Madeira.

This is an exciting trip. However, you should be aware that the weather is markedly worse on the north side than it is on the south side. Bring rain gear and don't expect to go swimming in Porto Moniz in winter. It will be closed in case of bad weather. Our tour was driven by Diogo P. He is young but a very experienced driver. Feel safe with him. We saw many small side roads where the locals live at last with their livestock. I deduct 1 star as we were 8 people in a Jeep. It was 2 too many. There was no room to store anything. We were very cramped.
