1. From Istanbul: 2-Day Gallipoli & Troy w/ Boat Tour
You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul early in the morning and drive to Gallipoli Peninsula giving a break on the half way for refresments. ( Breakfast served at own expense ) On arrival, enjoy your included lunch. After the lunch, your local and experienced guide will take you to the Gallipoli Bettlefields to see Anzac Cove, Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair and so on. At the end of the tour, you will overnight in a 3 star hotel in Canakkale. The next morning after your breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Homer's famous Troy. Lunch will be served after the Troy Tour. Then, you will visit Gallipoli Simulation Center to see 3D simulations about campaign. Then, you will take a boat to see the landing beaches from the sea. You will also have the chance to snorkel to a WW1 shipwreck at North Beach. In the afternoon, you will be driven back to your hotel in Istanbul. Day 1 - 06:00 - 06:20: Pick-up from your hotel around Taksim area - 06:30 - 07:00 Pick-up from your hotel around Sultanahmet area - 09:00 - 09:30 Break for refreshments ( Breakfast served at own expense ) - 12:00: Lunch in Eceabat - 13:00: Depart for Gallipoli Tour visiting Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, Anzac Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, Anzac Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston's Jolly, Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels, Turkish 57, Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk Bair and New Zealand Memorial - 18:30: Check-in to your hotel - Overnight in Canakkale Day 2 - Breakfast at hotel - 08:30: Depart for Troy Tour visiting the Trojan Horse, Sacrificial Altars, the 3700-year-old city walls, Houses of Troy I, 3000 BC - 2500 BC, yhe Bouleuterion, the Odeon and the remains of the various cities from Troy I through to Troy IX - 12:00: Ferry from Canakkale to Eceabat - 12:30: Restaurant lunch in Eceabat - 13:30: Visit Kabatepe Simulation Center for a 3D recreation of many of the historical events of the campaign - 14:45: Take a boat to visit the landing beaches from the sea. You will have the unique opportunity to see Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, Anzac Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery and Anzac Commemorative Site at North Beach from the sea, just as the soldiers of 1915 did. You will have the chance to snorkel over the wreck of the Milo, a steamer that was deliberately sunk in late 1915 to form a breakwater for Williams Pier - 18:00: Depart for Istanbul from Eceabat - 23:00: Arrive in Istanbul
