Connemara & Kylemore Abbey Day Tour - The bus tour followed a scenic route with much to see. Frequent stops for photo ops were well placed and appreciated. The driver was well informed, friendly and able to answer a myriad of questions. The abbey and grounds were stunning and well kept up. Definitely worth seeing. However, the tour started late when the bus was found to have a flat tire. We arrived early to get good sets, which was not honored when we had to change buses, so people who arrived late got the better seats. We were not informed ahead of time that the stop at the tea shop was closed and missed out on this opportunity. And the driver "forgot" his credit card machine, so we had to exchange currency on the fly (and at higher expense to us) in order to purchase tickets for the abbey.

Kylemore Abbey ist sehenswert. Das Gelände sehr weitläufig und hat einen wunderschönen blumengarten.. Leider hat es bei uns ununterbrochen geregnet. Man sollte bei der Buchung besser den Ausflug mit inkludiertem Eintritt buchen (10 €). Wir mussten das extra beim Fahrer bezahlen.

Die Tour war super. Auch dank Mike dem Busfahrer. Er hat viel erzählt, viel über die Gegend gewusst und einige Fotostopps eingelegt, an Orten die man selbst nicht angefahren wäre. Schöne Strecke ausgewählt, entlang der Küste und durch Connemara. Man hat die Wahl zwischen einem Ausstieg am Nationalpark ODER an der Kylemore Abbey. Dafür hat man jeweils drei Stunden Zeit, was super ist. Mir hat die Tour super gefallen. Echte landschaftliche Highlights!
