Je mets 5 étoiles pour Benjamin notre guide qui a vraiment été incroyable ! Super guide, super road trip, super safari ! je recommende le tour
Day 1: Cape Town to Oudtshoorn Travel route around 450 km Leave Cape Town early in the morning and trade the silhouette of Table Mountain for the lush green scenery of the Garden Route. The first game reserve visited is about 5 to 6 hours driving away (subject to weather and traffic conditions), but the route is scenic with a few photo and rest stops along the way. The 3500ha Botlierskop private game reserve is located in a malaria-free area and home to an abundance of wildlife including four of the Big Five, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, well over 26 different species of animals, and more than 200 bird species. Spot some of Africa’s wild animals from the back of an open-top 4x4 vehicle and particularly keep your eyes open for lion, elephant, buffalo, and rhino sightings. Leopards are nocturnal hunters, evasive and not contained by fences so it's unlikely to see them d...
This was one of the best experiences of my life. Our tour guide JP is simply the best guide you could wish for on a tour like this. He made sure that we as guests were always happy, he was more than happy to answer all our questions regarding all these amazing animals that we saw on that weekend and also all our questions regarding this amazing country which I definitely plan on visiting again in the future. We saw all the animals that I at least wanted to see, including rhinos, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, water bucks, and of course lions! And all of them in a distance of 4-20 meters! It was fantastic! Thank you very much JP and Hotspots2c for providing me this experience! I will definitely do it again!
Start your 2-hour adventure with an adrenaline beach launch into the sea on a 400 horsepower speedboat. The purpose-built cat style boat has been designed to conquer the ocean without compromising on safety or comfort. Knowledgeable guides and skippers will treat you to close encounters with some of the whales that visit the shores during the months of June to November. You could be graced with sightings of the Southern Right Whale in the Bay or Humpback Whales travelling along the coastline. You may experience the joy of seeing them breach or even view a mother and calf as they enjoy the safety the bay offers. Take a closer look at a vast seal colony and the many pelagic and coastal birds. Other possible sightings include sharks, big fish, penguins, and octopus in their natural habitat.
Launch from the quaint fishing harbor of Gansbaai and travel along the cliffs of De Kelders. Enter a nature reserve with the highest concentration of whales in South Africa. Look for southern right whales in their natural environment, along with dolphins, Cape fur seals and sharks. Keep an eye out for humpback, minke and Bryde's whales frolicking in the ocean. Catch a glimpse of the beautiful orcas, False killer whales and enchanting African penguins. Return back to the harbor at the end of your boating adventure.
I was lucky to get the perfect wheather. It is however a risk to pay in advance as the wheather is very unpredictable.
Join this 45-minute tour of a working ostrich farm tour located in the lush Cango Valley in South Africa. Expert tour guides lead you through the farm every 20 minutes, daily from 8 AM-4:30 PM. The farm is privately owned and managed and formed by family values, development of staff, proper farming methods, and conservation of the rich heritage of the environment. Come enjoy this unforgettable experience and learn more about these remarkable birds and their fascinating habitats. Take the opportunity to touch these magnificent birds, visit the curio shop, enjoy a break at the restaurant and wine house, and enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea before or after your tour. Make the most of your Garden Route holiday and stop by this must-see attraction when visiting Oudtshoorn.
such a good tour with lots of information, being close to the ostriches was great.
Wander through the ancient Tsitsikamma forest as you travel back in time to when the forest was home to hunter gatherers and learn more about their daily existence beneath the canopy. As you hike beneath the treetops, discover how the forest lives and breathes to the sounds of birds like the Knysna Loerie and Green Hoophoes—you will be amazed. Hike the Tsitsikamma's indigenous forest and discover the secrets of the spectacular forest: choose your own adventure with a variety of routes to choose from. As you enter the forest you will encounter Hard Pear trees, Giant Yellow Woods and other interesting forest flora for an experience you'll never forget. The routes start at the Stormsriver Adventure Centre. The hikes are relatively easy and an average of 3 km/h can indicate the time needed to complete the various routes.
The tour guide, Nigel, was great. We were never bored and it was informative. We came across a snake along the way and he handled it well. Shaded, beautiful views and good service altogether. Couldn’t be happier.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Only the 2 of us on this tour. Accomodation was very good at every stop - we opted for the guest houses. The food was delicious, & the 120 Rand allowance was enough. Addo was everything we'd hoped for, & more. Probably the highlight was the Garden Route Game Park - wonderful overnight accomodation. Two game drives, evening, & early morning - ticked all the boxes. We would have liked longer there. Our guide Devon, was polite, extremely helpful, & a good & safe driver. Extremely hard-working. He was very informative on the flora, fauna & South African culture.
Arrive at the marina in Plettenberg bay where you will board the boat. Prior to departure, get equipped with life-jackets (and ponchos, if necessary) then listen to a short safety briefing. Once passengers have boarded their boat, begin the trip with an exciting beach launch through the surf. While the routes may vary, depending on weather, animal distribution and sea conditions, the typical trip runs as follows: First, head East past the bird sanctuary and make your way along Keurbooms Beach towards Arch Rock. Along this stretch, encounter Bottlenose and the rare Indo-Pacific Humpback dolphins, as well as some shark species. From Arch Rock, cross the bay where you might see pelagic seabirds which are normally found some 7km from the shore. Keep your eyes peeled for Bryde’s Whales as well as Common Dolphins. Having crossed to the point of Robberg Peninsula, venture out to the Wild side...

Fabulous 5 day garden state tour trip, Isaac our guide was wonderful, open, kind and caring, I learnt so much about South Africa from him, nothing was too much trouble and he became more than a guide, he is now a valued friend. Fabulous scenery, I stayed in wonderful accommodation as was in the hotels/guest houses. The kayaking was fabulous, long journeys on the road however lots of stops and lots to see making each trip great, we had lots of chats and lots of laughs. A trip that I will never forget.
