Bali Uluwatu: Garuda Wisnu Kencana Entrance Ticket

1. Bali Uluwatu: Garuda Wisnu Kencana Entrance Ticket

Rising from the rugged hills of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, the magnificent Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue watches over the island. The towering statue is Bali’s most iconic landmark and depicts the Hindu God Wisnu and the mythical eagle, Garuda. Designed by renowned Balinese artist Nyoman Nuarta, the Garuda is the national emblem of Indonesia, an enduring symbol of freedom from oppression. Soaring to a height of almost 400 feet, this is one of the tallest monumental statues in the world. The statue makes a stunning central feature of GWK Cultural Park, a fascinating 60-hectare cultural park that provides a glimpse into Bali’s heritage through cultural performances, folk tales, and immense sculptures. Enjoy panoramic island views as you explore the park on foot or by Segway. Indulge in traditional Indonesian cuisine, immerse yourself in a land steeped in mythology, or plan your next big event in one of GWK’s epic venues.

I had a wonderful time on my tour to Uluwatu. I really enjoyed the beaches we visited and the wonderful nature alongside the shore of Uluwatu and Nusa Dua. Because of the virus, I was the only person on the trip, but my guide Yogi was wonderful, so I had a great last day in Bali. He explained a lot about the culture and religion of Bali, he was very professional and always gave me as much time as I needed on my own to explore the sights and beaches, so I had a relaxing, yet educational day. I can highly recommend this tour anyone enjoying a mixture of cultural sights, nature and beaches.

I really enjoyed this tour. One of the highlights was Nusa Dua Beach, which was not overcrowded and was heavenly beautiful!!! Personally, I don't find the GWK monument as beautiful as, for example, the statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro, but that's a matter of taste. The GWK site is super interesting and beautifully designed. Overall the day was great and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone vacationing in Bali.

We had an amazing experience that was mostly because of our tour guide Dewa. He made our trip the most fun and took us to the best photo locations while giving us good insights into the balinese culture. The views were breathtaking and definitely worth the money. We would definitely recommend booking this trip!

It's been a long beautiful day. Our guide Komang was great. However, I was hoping to see a little more beaches

We were very well taken care of. It was a long day, but it went by quickly. We learn about Balinese culture.
