    1. From Berlin: Battle for Seelow Heights WW2 Battlefield Tour

After meeting your guide, travel to the town of Seelow, approximately 1.5 hours from Berlin. Visit the Seelow Heights War Museum where your guide will provide a detailed overview of the Berlin-Seelow offensive operation and highlight key exhibitions, including a 3D model of the Soviet 1st Belorussian Front bunker and the trench network which will be visited later in the tour. Explore the museum at your own leisure following the introduction. After the museum, it is a short drive to the next town of Reitwein. Discover this small and unassuming town which played a vital role in the Soviet advance and was the starting point for the 1st Belorussian Front assault on Seelow and the future advance on Berlin. Learn how Marshal Zhukov set up his command post in this town and visit the remnants of the bunker and trench network systems located in the nearby forest. See the remains of Marshal Zhuko...

The tour to the Seelow Heights is worth seeing and I would recommend to the guests of Berlin to include it into travel program. The historical aspects of WWII are complex and sometimes hard to apprehend, but Matthew, is a very knowledgeable guide with a great personal interest in this field of history, uncovers hidden details while perfectly giving overview of the past events. Any weather would accompany the story, but I was lucky to admire the beautiful Brandenburg area under the sun. All promises of the travel program have been met thanks to the well-organized guide. It was a great day with the new impressions and unexpected discoveries of what, I thought, I have already known.

This was an exceptionally good battlefield tour run by an excellent guide. The Covid situation meant that there were only myself and a friend that day and he must have barely covered his overheads but nevertheless did not cancel the tour. This was the last battle of WW2 and the cost was indescribably huge on both sides. The guide not only describes the tactics so well and lucidly he brings to life the terrible story of the tragic human carnage. Matthew was so good and we were so impressed with his professional expertise we booked him for a private tour later in our visit.

Fantastic guide and for the first time i could understand the battlefield.

A great experience , comfortable ride and worth the time spend in Seelow.
