Berlin: Private City Highlights Walking Tour
- Duration options: 2 - 4 hours
per group up to 10
Ariel was our host for the walk. A very warm and knowledgeable man. I, having served in West Berlin when the wall was up, was intrigued to know more of the East Berlin perspective - and was not in the least bit disappointed. The tour wasn't long enough but it's a great 'taster' for those with a real interest in pre and post ww2 Berlin. Thank you Ariel for making our visit to Berlin much richer.
Our guide, John, was extremely knowledgeable and very respectful. He made the whole tour thoroughly enjoyable and his knack of explaining everything made it so interesting. We couldn't have experienced this part of Berlin without him. Excellent guide.
We got lucky with our Tour and Tour Guide Carlos. We were able to take our time and he pointed out so many things that we had seen before but didn't know the history behind it. 3 Hours may not sound like a lot but you are definitely beat afterwards.
It was not easy to get the tickets at Alexander plats but once that was done it was easy to get around the city. As there were so many places that I wanted to see the easy city pass was useful.
What a fantastic way to introduce friends who are new to the city to the history of Berlin. Tour Guide Ciaran was such a great storyteller and even ended the tour with a poem!
