Salzburg 2.5-Hour Walking Tour: Mozart, Old Town & More

1. Salzburg 2.5-Hour Walking Tour: Mozart, Old Town & More

Explore the heart of the city of Salzburg. Starting at Palace Mirabell, you will explore the sights here. The palace was built under the reign of the famous baroque Prince Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Reitenau for his mistress Salome Alt and their 15 children. At the Makartplatz, next to the Palace Mirabell, you will see the Mozart Residence. You will explore the New Town and this side of the river before crossing the bridge “Makartsteg” to arrive at the Old Town of Salzburg. While here we will get to Salzburg’s most famous street, the Getreidegasse, which is especially renowned for its wrought-iron trade signs and Mozart’s Birthplace. Stroll through Salzburg’s Old Town to admire its historic buildings, such as the medieval apartments and churches that were built from the Middle Ages to the baroque time, and conclude the tour with a panoramic view from Mönchsberg Hill with a free guide (optional).

Thank you very much Junko for the fantastic tour of Salzburg with you. A super professional, cheerful and affectionate guide who will make you fall in love with the city. We learned about Salzburg, its history, the Austrian lifestyle and also the life of Mozart and "Smiles and Tears". In addition, Junko has a wonderful voice and is not shy about singing the OST of the movie and other famous melodies. We recommend this visit because my mother and I had the privilege of living together, with no minimum number of reservations to do the activity. A 10! June was our guide and was exceptionally educated on Salzburg and its history. The couple of hours on tour that we took on our first day in town was ideal to identify what we should do for the rest of our tour

A nice little Japanese ledy who knew a lot about thi history and curiosities of Salzburg. And she took us to see even the least known parts of rown. Definitely worth the price.

It was very informative and entertaining, a very nice tour guide who adjusted to our wishes 100%.

Very knowledgeable and friendly! June was fabulous!
