Full description
This tour is suited for anyone and everyone curious about the haunted history of Gettysburg. Newcomers who have never done a ghost tour are as welcome as paranormal enthusiasts. If American history is your favorite topic, you’ll hear facts you might never have learned in any school textbook or classroom. Even die-hard skeptics are welcome. This 1-hour haunted ghost tour is for all who wish to see Gettysburg through a more unique lens.  Meet your guide and head to the Farnsworth House. Now a bed and breakfast, it used to be the territory of Confederate snipers during the Battle of Gettysburg. Regarded as one of the town’s most haunted places, the Confederate soldiers who once were inside have long since passed, but some continue to feel their presence.  Next head to the Hall of Presidents. Now closed, this former wax museum has a deep-rooted history of paranormal activity. The Hall was filled with wax figures of every American President and First Lady, darkly built on a former Civil War burial ground. Being built atop a burial ground is seldom good news, and guests will learn how this building continues to be no exception. The final destination of this tour is the beautiful Gettysburg Hotel which is haunted by two spirits, man and woman, from wartime. They share a mysterious and deep bond, learn their secret known by only a small few.

Our guide, Clinton, was personable and Knowledgeable. He shared many interesting facts about the war that really helps us connect with the history of the town and the men who lost their lives. Clinton’s recount of the paranormal sightings throughout town was engaging and interesting. He answered questions and helped us appreciate the sacred ground we were standing on. I took photos as suggested and I captured an orb and what appears to be cannon fire in a photograph taken on Cemetery Hill. I didnt see it with my eyes but the photo doesn’t lie. Thank you for this amazing experience!

Clinton was an exceptional tour guide. He knew the information well and could present it in a way that kept you intrigued. It was great for adults and kids alike. I took my 11 year old, and he was enthralled. My son even wanted to go back up to Cemetery Hill to take pictures following the tour, so you know he enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone experiencing Gettysburg.
