This was an excellent learning experience for the whole family. Our guide, Truman, was amazing. He was funny and informative, bringing to life what it was like to live and battle in Gettysburg in 1863. We all walked away with a much better understanding of Gettysburg and it's importance in American history. I would highly recommend this tour for all ages.

Truman was terrific! Our group was made up of an 18 year old English school educated young man who has studied the American Civil War on his own, a 32 year old man with some knowledge about the War and a 71 year old widow of a Civil War buff. Truman was relatable to us all. Intelligent, knowledgeable, affable and generous with his time and knowledge. All three of us were very pleased and satisfied. We highly recommend his services!!

We were on our first extended vacation with our kids. We had been on the road for a week when we met up with our guide, Truman Eyler. Our trip to Gettysburg was short and we wanted something that our girls, five and ten, could enjoy. The experience was worth every penny. Truman answered every question the girls asked. He also relayed Gettysburg to culture concepts that our girls could understand. He also had us hit nearly every noteworthy spot in two hours with the exception of Culps Hill. No small feat. And, he did it on the anniversary of the battle which meant large crowds. The professionalism, knowledge, and customer care and interaction were top notch. We will definitely do this when we come back once the girls are a little older.
