The experience was just as described, and very good. Several people turned up late and didn't understand the nature of the tour, causing a delay but our guide was very professional with them and later thanked the rest of us for our patience. The frescoes inside were explained very well, and we had a good amount of time up on the cupola terrace. I found I could not always hear the sound through the earpiece as we climbed up and down the staircase but that may have been due to the stone structure.

Very interesting tour with a very knowledgeable guide (Victoria I think). It was well worth paying to be fast tracked to the front of the queue. Our guide was friendly and happy to answer all questions and you can stay in the Duomo after the tour for as long as you want, so we were able to go back and look at things again, feeling that we had a little bit of knowledge about them.

Marcello was great! We had two teens with us and he was entertaining, HILARIOUS, and full of great historical facts about Florence, the Medici, Dante Aligheri's childhood home and Palazzo Pitti.

The tour was terrific. Jemma was really fascinating and she helped a lot to understand in depth the magnitude of Duomo and its architecture as well as the whole history behind it.

This was a good tour but be prepared to wait in some long lines.
