2 Day South Coast Tour with Glacier Hike & Boat Tour
- Private group

- Duration: 2 days
This tour was the perfect two day tour for our limited time frame. It was set at a good pace but we weren't rushed through anything, the tour guide was really knowledgable and nice, and it allowed us to see so much in a short amount of time. Even though we had a semi-strict schedule our guide still pulled over and allowed us to get off the bus to take pictures of a group of wild reindeer which was so cool to see! There was a lot of driving but that is to be expected on a tour that covers a large distance. The hotel we stayed at was very nice, overall we had a great experience and came away having seen and learned many amazing things about Iceland! I highly recommend going during the week as we saw almost zero crowds during our Tuesday/Wednesday tour.
Awesome experience all around. Beautiful warerfalls, landscapes and black sand beaches. The glacier hike was definitely the highlight for me. Sightseeing is great and all but is was nice to mix in alittle action. The glacier hike was easy but not ridiculously easy. If your elderly or have any serious knee or leg issues you may want to rethink the hike. Our guide was Skuli (looks just like the red-bearded wildling from GOT..hope he doesn’t take offense to that lol). He was awesome! Extemely knowledgeable regarding Iceland. Very professional, friendly and more than willing to answer any questions. Iceland is my new favorite country! I’ll be back
Had a wonderful experience. The best tour in Iceland. David was a fantastic guide, friendly, cheerful and knowledgeable. Luckily there were less participants therefore we got to see some extra places as well. Also witnessed northern lights. Transportation, accommodation, meals and schedule, everything was quality and nicely organized. Will recommend everyone to choose this tour.
The tour was well organized and gave us the chance to see so many beautiful sites on the South Coast, waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches and even more. The guide was knowledgeable and very professional, in driving and leading the glacier hike. The hostel where we stayed over night was very welcoming, clean and quiet. Food was good and affordable there.
The glacier hike was the highlight. Even drank glacier water the ‘Viking way’. Guides were knowledgeable and explained how to go about the hike very well. The hike was exciting & fun. The south coast waterfalls & black beach are amazingly beautiful. My personal favourite one was the hidden waterfall- Gljúfrabúi. Highly recommend the tour
