Located in a National Park, this area is rich in biodiversity, and the falls look spectacular after the monsoons. Spend 1 hour taking in the mesmerizing sights of the waterfall, before making your way back to the parking in the Jeep. After this, hop into your car and make your way to a local Spice Plantation in southern Goa. Enjoy a traditional Indian welcome at the spice plantation with soothing herbal tea. Awaken your senses as you take a leisurely walk around the spice plantation, observing the flora around you. Goa Full-Day Private Tour

4. Goa Full-Day Private Tour

After picking you up up from your hotel, our day will begin with a visit to Shree Manguesh. This famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is located on a hillock surrounded by lush green hills. Though small, it has an air of distinctive elegance. Its lofty white tower at the entrance is a countryside landmark. From there, the Shree Mahalsa is just a short distance away. This temple is a place of worship of one of the manifestations of the god Vishnu. Afterwards, we will visit the Sahakari Spice Farm, found in beautiful lush green surroundings. Then, we will continue to the Basilica of Bom Jesus. Built in the 16th century, this magnificent building is the most popular and famous of all the churches in Goa. The mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, kept in a silver casket, are enshrined here. The casket was wrought by Goan silversmiths in 1636-37. Dedicated to Infant Jesus, this church is now a World Heritage Monument. From there, we will head to the Se Cathedral. The most imposing of all the churches at Old Goa, its vaulted interior overwhelms visitors with its sheer grandeur. This Cathedral has five bells, among them the famous Golden bell, the biggest in Goa and one of the best in the world. This church is dedicated to St.Catherine of Alexandria. Finally, we will pay a visit to the Church of St.Francis of Assissi. The entrance and the choir were built in the Manueline style, the only fragment of its kind in the East. First built in 1517, it was later rebuilt twice, in 1521 and in 1661. The interior is illustrated with exquisite paintings and the floor has a large number of tombstones with coats-of-arms. The adjacent convent now houses the Archaeological Museum. Experience this and more of Goa's remarkable history, architecture and culture when you come along!

Beautiful Goa Beach Tour

5. Beautiful Goa Beach Tour

Enjoy a full-day tour to enjoy the beauty of Goa. Take in the laid-back atmosphere and magnificent beaches of this unique, picturesque place. After pick-up from your hotel, we will start our day with a visit to Kerim Beach, the northernmost tip of the state of Goa and home of the Kerim beach. This pristine beach is located 28 km (17 miles) from Mapusa and is one of the steepest slope beaches in Goa. Although the waters are clear and alluring, we advise getting the opinion of the local folks as well as the lifeguards before jumping in for a swim. Our next stop will be Ashwem Beach, situated south to the Arambol beach. This is another isolated beach in Goa with vast stretches of sand on the horizon as you make your way to beach shacks and huts midway along the beach. There are a number of restaurants in the area that serve sumptuous seafood. Finally, we will head to Anjuna beach. This classic north Goa market has been around since the mid 1970’s and seems to be growing continuously, it now covers most of the area behind the south side of Anjuna beach. Every Wednesday at 11:00, a massive flea market opens for business. What started as hippies selling off their possessions to afford a ticket back home has now turned in to a commercial spectacle on a grand scale. These days, there are not many foreign sellers, and even fewer hippie ones. Nowdays most sellers are professional market vendors from Rajasthan and other places in north India, Tibet, Nepal and other places, offering everything you would normally find at the local beach markets, and much, much more. Get a taste of Goa's relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking scenery on the full-day beach tour.

Great time with guide Rishi!!

Wonderful way to see Goa. I was there during the monsoon season which meant fewer tourists and some lovely rain. Had a chance to walk around, shop (there's a fantastic museum you'll go to where antique items are all on sale), see temples and amazing churches. Overall a really, really great way to see and get to know Goa. If you have Rishi as your guide you will be in luck!

This tour exceeded all expectations. Competent guide with very well-founded knowledge. Great tour not only over the island, but also through the history of Goa. And finally, a fantastic meal with a very educated lady.
