Marvel at the beautiful Gate of Pomegranates, then walk past the Pillar of Charles V fountain, erected in 1554 along the route that leads to the main entrance of the Alhambra. Explore the Alcazaba fortress, formerly a military precinct and the oldest area of the Alhambra complex. You will also visit the Nasrid Palaces including the Palace of Mexuar, the Palace of Comares, and the Palace of Leones. Finally head to the Generalife, the summer palace of the Nasrid Emirs, home to one of the oldest surviving gardens of the Moors. The guide (Vanessa) was very nice and explained everything very well. She was also upbeat and enthusiastic about what she does, which makes it way more fun. We had some issues getting in to some buildings because of new ID requirements and she was patient and very helpful. We appreciate it so much, and thumbs up also to the personnel at Alhambra for being very helpful as well.

Our guide, Paula, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and organized. It was easy to find the tour group, just outside the souvenir store, and we were given our tickets and headphones, which were very useful. In the next three hours we were able to see all the highlights of the place while also listening to Paula's very good explanations. I'd definitely recommend it.
