Full description
Travel to artisanal Granada. Learn about the history of Granada through its crafts. Granada was one of the most important cities with regard to merchants and the Silk Road, with ceramics from Fajalauza dating back to the 16th century, Taracea, pieces of wood inlaid with ivory, Luthier, lace mantillas (shawls), as well as goldsmithing.
The tour will be led by an official guide in your language. You will learn about the artisanal history, as well as classic businesses of mantillas (shawls) and fans. At the workshop of a Luthier you will see the work that is done to produce the perfect handmade guitar. You will walk through the Alcaicería where there are still some of these ancient businesses.
