Full description
With this combined tour, you can enjoy the three most characteristic monuments of Granada linked to the Catholic Monarchs and Emperor Carlos V. Start your tour at the Plaza Bib-Rambla where you will meet your friendly guide. From here, you'll enter the Royal Chapel, built for Isabel la Católica, who is buried next to Fernando de Aragón. After discovering its splendid marble tombs and the rich collection of Flemish paintings personally owned by the queen, you will visit the Cathedral of Granada, built by Emperor Carlos V. This Cathedral was erected by the hands of the architect Diego de Siloé on the Alhama mosque, making it one of the first Renaissance works in the country.
Finally, complete your experience with a visit to the splendid Monastery of San Jerónimo, built by the Catholic Monarchs to extol the military and heroic greatness of the Grand Captain, Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba. Of particular note in this building is the main altar, where Gonzalo was buried, it is truly a sight to behold.
