Explore the region of Alpujarra on a day trip from Granada. Learn about the history of the region of Andalucia with your local guide and admire the views of fantastic landscapes. Begin by heading towards Lanjarón, making the first stop at the historic Nasrid bridge of Tablate. Learn about the relationship of the Moriscos with the Alpujarra. Visit the Nasrid castle and enjoy the views of the surrounding region. Head to a viewpoint and admire the vistas of the Poqueira Valley, Guadalfeo Valley, and Sierra Nevada. Discover the Fuente Agria Spring and the Chorrerón in Pórtugos, a source of water rich in minerals. Walk down to the Chorrerón and enjoy some impressive natural waterfalls. La Alpujarra is an extensive valley running across the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevada and the mountains of the Contraviesa Lújar, the Mediterranean coast and the Sierra de Gador. White buildings pepper the rugged terrain, matching the snow-capped peaks down amid the lush foliage. The first stop is the 19th-century town of Lanjarón, where you'll follow the flowing waters to Orgiva, the crossroads of the region and capital of La Alpujarra. From here continue through the magical towns of Caratuñas, Pampaneira, Pitres and Trevélez, the highest village in Spain, famous for its exquisite Iberian hams. Then, drive into the heart of the charming and picturesque villages of Bubion and Capileira, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views and a traditional lunch if you choose this option.

Leaving from the city of Granada at 09:00 or meeting point in Hoya de la Mora, Sierra Nevada at 10:00 where we start the trekking tour, in winter we will use snowshoes and poles to enjoy the snow and ice and in summer only walking sticks, enjoying the views of the fertile plain of Granada, the summit of Mulhacen and the Veleta and on clear days views of the Mediterranean Sea, upon reaching the summit of the Veleta at 3,396 meters above sea level, we will enjoy a well-deserved rest with a picnic lunch and prepare for the descent. The round trip trek has an approximate time of 7 hours back to Hoya de la Mora, and back to Granada at 6:00 p.m.

Discover the surroundings of the National Park as we go off-road to get to the area where the ski resort is located. The guides will adapt the tour to participants' level of fitness and ability. After a day of exploration, travel back to the center of Granada.

Leave Granada city centre in the morning from your hotel or a convenient location nearby. Delve straight into the unique landscape of Granada Geopark.  Pass by picturesque villages on your way to your first stop, Acequia del Toril. Learn about how this natural aqueduct was formed over the centuries. Wander around the vast vegetation that covers the Acequia and the arid landscape that surrounds it. Next up is Gorafe, one of the most picturesque towns in Granada. Explore and immerse yourself in one of the most remarkable natural deserts in Europe. Enjoy an impressive panorama full of different shapes, colors, and sensations. Visit the typical cave houses and well-preserved Dolmens of the Megalithic Park. Continue your tour to the village of Zujar and take pictures of the breathtaking panoramic view of Mirador de Jabalcon. Look down on the Quaternary sediments of the basin and learn about its geological history from your local guide. End your tour with lunch in one of the town's best restaurants, which offers local and seasonal food. After lunch an hour of free time to have a coffee or have a walk before returning to Granada.
