St. Lucia: Segway Nature Trail Experience

2. St. Lucia: Segway Nature Trail Experience

This 2-hour St. Lucia Segway tour starts at our Segway practice track, where you’ll have a 20-minute orientation session. Professional staff and equipment ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone. After everyone becomes familiar with the balance controls of the Segway X2, we glide off to explore the historical wonders of Mount Pimard along our exclusive 1.7 mile (2.7 km) long trail system. Our fun and informative guides will talk about everything from the beautiful flowers and butterflies to the battles the French and English once waged for possession of our island. Guests will enjoy beautiful vistas of Pigeon Island, Reduit Beach, Rodney Bay Marina and the Caribbean Sea all while gliding effortlessly on their intuitive, eco-friendly Segway X2. Some of our other stops include a naturally occurring pond where we stop to feed the fresh-water fish and a local fruit stop at our highest viewpoint.

From Soufriere: Full-Day Sail & Zip Line Adventure

3. From Soufriere: Full-Day Sail & Zip Line Adventure

As you will find out from anyone in St. Lucia, the Creole words 'Tout Bagay' means everything. Need I say more? Your vacation would not be complete without sailing down the west coast of St. Lucia on a tour of Soufriere, home of the majestic pitons. Get a guided tour through Soufriere before heading to the historic Morne Coubaril Estate. It's not all about beauty, but also a bit of the history. See how the first inhabitants survived in thatched houses and how they produced cocoa and sugar cane for survival. For outdoor enthusiast and for those who love amazing views, you'll be able to go zip lining. Head out on St. Lucia's only tandem zip line with the piton in clear view to the south and Soufriere town to the north. Lunch will then be served. Sit down with nature and enjoy a Creole buffet lunch prepared using some of the provisions and vegetables produced on the estate and if you have a sweet tooth, there will also be desserts too. Return to the boat as you head back up the coast to your swim stop. Snorkeling is allowed and gear will be provided if you wish to be one with the underworld. However, the day would not be complete if you did not see Marigot Bay, St. Lucia's best hurricane haven and location to some of the world's best known movies. As the day winds down, the party wines up. Try a few dance moves to some of the Caribbean's latest songs before returning to the docks.

What people are saying about Gros Islet Quarter

An excellent trip which we would thoroughly recommend

We booked this trip independently rather than through our cruise ship (P&O) as it was much cheaper. We also got much more time doing what we wanted! Having never booked independently before we were a little cautious but there was no need! We were collected on time from the port by very friendly staff who took us to centre for the experience. We had an excellent guide - Sheldon - who showed all the sights and let us have good fun on the Segways! We were then treated to some local fruits on a refreshment stop along way which really made the whole experience! Thoroughly recommend this to anyone!

An absolutely awesome experience.

We received very friendly professional tuition from Chad who was very knowledgeable about the island and extremely helpful This made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable and we have the wonderful photos he took of us. We will certainly recommend you to anyone we know who is thinking of vacationing in the Caribbean. Thank you so much.

Excellent, best thing we did on vacation

Facilities and staff were outstanding. Tour guide, Shanga Danga, took the time to show us the proper use of the Segway and then we went through amazing trails that overlooked beautiful sites. He was ful of information on the history of St. Lucia. Our whole familiy loved it, Segway's are amazing and so was our tour guide.

Segway are amazing!

Our tour guide were very friendly and kept us safe on the Segways. They were knowledgable and allowed to taste the fruit and juices from the island, that was my favorite part. I would recommend to everyone to give this a try!

We had a terrific time!

The Segway Tour and the guides were great. No problems whatsoever. Very enjoyable. St Lucia was beautiful!
