What people are saying about Guanajuato

Our guide, Sam, was extremely knowledgeable about the local history of San Miguel as well as the historical context of chocolate. He has selected very different venues for our chocolate tastings but all were in close physical proximity. Each was amazing but hands down our favorites were the chicken enchiladas in mole and the chocolate beverage. Thank you Sam for a wonderful and informative afternoon!

This tour was beyond our expectations! We love chocolate & was delighted to taste the varieties. Our guide Sam was exceptional he walked us through the city telling us all about the history of SMA, so knowledgeable and friendly! Totally recommend this tour when you are in SMA, best way to know the city & trust me you will have a very good time :)

Omar did an outstanding job, combining the history of San Miguel, and the history of Mexican food. All of the restaurants were perfect, the food was superb, and the tour was better than we expected! Highly recommend Omar to anyone who wants this experience in San Miguel de Allende.

We learned a lot about the history of chocolate. Arrive hungry because the four stops fill you up. They are sampling, artesian, pain o chocolate, chocolate, enchiladas with Molé, and drinking chocolate – cold is spectacular.

Very knowledgable, personable. Offered a local perspective on life in San Miguel. Highly recommend the tour and Elisa.
