  • Seoul: South Korea Demilitarized Zone Half & Full Day Tour

    1. Seoul: South Korea Demilitarized Zone Half & Full Day Tour

Depart Seoul and journey to one of the most unusual tourist destinations in the world at the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on the border of South and North Korea. Created by the Korean Armistice Agreements of July 27, 1953, the 155-mile long military demarcation line (MDL) has a 2-kilometer wide demilitarized zone on each side. Your first stop is Ganghwa Peace Observatory, where you can have the closest and most clear look at North Korean farmlands. Walk around rather untouched paths, enclosed by barbed wires and stop by at 6.25 Veterans Memorial Park where you can learn about the tragic history of Korean War. Close your eyes and take a moment to think about their sacrifices. Later, travel to Imjingak Park, a part of Paju DMZ, where many statues and monuments regarding the Korean War can be seen. Discover the Bridge of Freedom used by repatriated POWs and soldiers. At the end of the ...

    2. Namiseom, Petite France, Garden of Morning Calm & Rail Bike

Meet your friendly coordinator at your preferred meeting point in Seoul and hop onto the comfortable tour bus with other travelers as you head to Gapyeong City. During the ride, be briefed on the details of the tour by your knowledgeable coordinator. If you select one of the options including the rail bike experience, drive to the rail bike station to enjoy riding along an old train track in the beautiful countryside, that has been converted into a serene rail bike track. Continue to The Garden of Morning Calm, a stunning garden that attracts families, friends, couples, and photographers with a variety of festivals held there throughout the year. Try some local food at the restaurants nearby. If you select the lunch add-on at check-out, you can try the region's signature dish, Dakgalbi (Korean style spicy chicken) and fried rice, served with water and soft drinks. Next, set off for Nam...

We booked this on a whim, so we weren't expecting much. The tour was quirky (i.e. the petite france theme park) but overall the experience exceeded our expectations! We loved Nami Park but probably would have ditched the Theme Park in favor of more time there. The final stop at the garden was amazing and definitely an unexpected highlight.

  • Nami Island, Petite France & Optional Rail Bike Tour

    3. Nami Island, Petite France & Optional Rail Bike Tour

Located just 63 kilometers away from Seoul, Nami Island is a popular getaway spot for both locals and tourists. The area is famous for its magnificent tree lined roads. There are different activities available on the island or you can simply relax and enjoy the wonderful views in the area.  Petite France is a little vibrant French village that stands out with its brightly colored buildings. This village consists of many photo-worth spots that were featured on dramas and variety shows, such as “Beethoven Virus”, “Secret Garden”, “Running Man” and the most recent, “You Who Came From The Stars”. If you choose a "Rail Bike" option, you will see an old train track in the beautiful countryside that has been converted into a serene rail bike track for you to spend some quality time among nature with your friends and family. With this option, you will visit the Rail Bike station in the morning...

Our Tour Guide was Jade. She speaks fluent English and seems knowledgeable about the places to be visited. She gave a little talk about history and some facts. She even recommend a restaurant for lunch (but the food tastes bland in my opinion).

Wonderful trip from beginning to end. The day went to plan without any mishaps. Tour guide Lammi spoke excellent English and was very interactive. The morning calm was exceptionally beautiful and worth a visit in addition to Nami island. The rail bike was fun with beautiful views! Advise a coat and a comfortable pair of shoes at this time of year.

I would recommend this tour. The female guide was very dedicated, informative and friendly. Even though I couldn't understand everything all the time I still learned something new. There were 3 stops and you always had like 10-15 minutes for yourself which were more than enough for me. So, if your are in Seoul you should visit the DMZ.

Despite the closed demilitarized zone, the alternative was equally interesting, largely because of the guide, which made the tour very interesting.

We had a really good day, with a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. I can fully recommend this company for a DMZ tour.

Good value for money. Im sure you can get more in depth tours, but for the price this one is great

It was a great tour and covered everything listed. Very knowledgeable and helpful tour guide.
