Experience natural landscapes and get an insight into old fjord communities on this trip. Learn about salmon production and sample some salmon produced in Hardangerfjord combined with local ciders or apple juices. Go on a tour of Hardanger Akvasenter’s digital viewing center in Øystese. Then, hop on a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) to go into the fjord arm Fyksesund, a beautiful fjord arm midway in the Hardangerfjord. Enjoy the scenic views that Fyksesund has to offer, along with the inner part of the fjord's particularly steep and high mountainsides. Enjoy several stops close to land along the way to delve into nature and history along the fjord. On the way out, go ashore to Hardanger Aqua Center’s display facility at the start of the fjord arm. Get to see the practice of salmon production. Treat yourself to tastings of locally produced salmon served in combination with local apple drinks. Return in the RIB via Kvamsøy and Tjuvaholmen back to Øystese.
