After returning back to Chamonix and having lunch at one of the local cafes, proceed with the journey to Montreux, which is firmly squeezed between Lake Geneva (Lac Leman), the vineyards of Lavaux and the Alps in the French-speaking region of Switzerland. Besides gazing at the panoramic views of Lake Leman, you can also find souvenir shops, boutique stores and traditional restaurants selling local food.
