Since it was my first time to experience a helicopter, I felt very scared at first and only look at the scenery in the camera. The team worked well together. The pilots have great skills and can chat and explain the scenery. The process of tilting at the view is very exciting. I feel like it's a roller coaster ride. However, as the plane flew through the clouds, it felt like my dream had come true.

Sam, our pilot, was knowledgeable and shared good history on the evolution of the land as well as the volcanoes in the region. She also made sure all passengers had a good share of flying and sighting the various calderas. Safe and great way to see big island from the sky!

It is mother nature, so the weather can change at any moment. We didn't get to fly over the active Lava flow, but our pilot, Sam, was extraordinary at showing us so much more to make up for it. We saw some of the most beautiful things, and DID fly over the Rim of a Volcano that was still steaming, saw waterfalls and the dried Lava flow from the 2018 that took 700 homes, but added 900 acres to the island. (no lives lost in the eruption). Totally would recommend this tour.
