Full description

See the highlights of Oahu's western shore, also known as the Leeward Coast, on a tour departing from Honolulu. Relax on picturesque beaches, take scenic photos, and learn about local rum production in a lesser-visited area of the island.

Start with a pickup from your accommodation in Honolulu. Travel towards Electric Beach for some scenic photo stops. Try to spot dolphins who can often be found frolicking offshore, and admire the beautiful ocean views.

Next, visit the ancient Makua Cave and admire its immense size. Hear of the legends and stories associated with this eerie location. Hear about Hawaiian history while passing Makaha beach, one of the best surf spots on the west side and another scenic spot to see spinner dolphins.

Continue the tour to Ko'olina Beach and enjoy some free time for lunch (cost not included). After lunch, take some time to relax on the beach, as you top up your tan or do some swimming.

After some beach time, embark on an Agricole rum-tasting experience tour. For those who are underaged or just who don't want to drink rum, enjoy two gelato options for a sweet treat instead. Afterward, relax on your return journey to Honolulu while taking in the sites of Pearl harbor in the distance.

Guide, Mike was excellent, really knowledgable and engaging, tour covered a lot of ground but didn’t feel rushed and we got to see areas that you just don’t have time to explore on a circle island tour. Rum tasting was great! Would thoroughly recommend!

Mike was a wonderful tour guide. He was so kind and knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. I was the only one on the tour, but I had a nice time. I was wanting more of a cave exploration. Instead we only went 100 feet in took a pictureand turned around.

On this day the group was smaller so it felt like a personal tour with an awesome guide Jose!! He provided details and knowledge that only a true islander would know. Now as mainlanders have a much higher respect and knowledge of the island. Thank you for a day of memories that will last a life time.
