Nice guide and very informative. You do have to follow the speed recommendations or you may miss some of the narrative. So plan the time of day accordingly. I was doing this solo and I had some trouble navigating it as my gps didn't always sync up just right as well as I ended up in some commuter traffic so I couldn't always abide by the recommended speed guidelines which at times can be a bit slower than what is posted or what is actually driven. Having a co-pilot would definitely be beneficial if you get a bit off track as I ended pulling over a couple of times before I got the hang of my gps & the program. All in all, it's a great deal and an excellent way to explore the island.

We enjoyed this tour very much. We were unlucky and hit a little unpredictable weather. So we decided to do a driving tour to be safe from the rain. And with this we were able to see most of the island and learned so many fun historian facts. My teenage daughter she felt like she was in history class again, this time she enjoyed learning. Highly recommended from a family of 4, including a teenager and an infant.

Was not an expensive purchase at $14 but well worth it if little is known about the island of Kauai. Easy to initially set up in the app from an active wifi connection & then data is not required as the commentary is pre-loaded and way points identified along the way. We enjoyed most the history of Kauai & many historical stories so well told by the narrator. One tip though is that where the way points are close together, you’ll need to slow your vehicles speed or the narration will simply skip to the next way points - and you miss the end of that storyline. Can highly recommend!!
