It was a wonderful day, and an unforgettable experience. Our guide Jon Knight was very knowledgeable and also followed an interpretive guide methodology so he was great at using storytelling to captivate our imagination. He was good at getting to know his crowd. Because of this, I’d say that it was a great experience for all kinds of people, from solo travelers to couples and families. I loved the experience of seeing lava from afar at a very safe distance, as well as visiting the lava tubes, boulders, and various geological types of impacts that the volcanoes have created. It was nice to get to know Madame Pele, the goddess of volcanoes! Recommend to be prepared for rain, as you’re going to be in tropical as well as dry areas. If you’re not prepared, they will supply some jackets, (and snacks and meals). If you’re up for an adventure, this is for you!

The guide was kind to me, who is not familiar with the language, and I enjoyed participating. I felt Aloha's heart very much in his hospitality and explanation of Aaron, and in that sense, I am glad that I participated in this tour. His English was very easy to hear, so I thought it would be good to recommend it to Japanese travelers who want to challenge English.

Hike was worth it alone! Cruise was riding along to drop off the people going on the submarine tour, which we had already done. If we had understood that, we wouldn’t have gone on the boat (again). Lovely guide and skipped the line at the hike; got there just in time for the sunrise.

Aaron was an amazing tour guide and tried to make our experience great. He had snack bars ready, took us to amazing spots for pictures and touring, and willingly went out of his way to bring us to great places outside of the tour. He even brought us to a warmer area for star gazing

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Islands. The restaurant chosen for our dinner was a great place.
