The sanctuary is too small for the amount of tourist that visit. The carparks are full to capacity from early morning till late afternoon. Found it all but impossible to show my child all the animals, only due to the rudeness of many of the visitors. Constantly pushing in front of the child as she is trying to see the many different sights. Particularly the reptile exhibit.

Beautiful, peaceful way to introduce my South African friend to some of Australia’s fauna! The platypus displays we’re mind blowing and we were enchanted by Fleay, the 15 year old platypus. His frolicking from one end of his enclosure to the other was magic!

Beautiful outdoors experience with children. So much to see and learn about with a wonderful balance of hands on fun as well as displayed information. The playground was a beautiful respite area to enjoy a packed lunch then go back to exploring the animals!
