    1. Healy: Denali Aurora Quest

Search the skies for the Northern Lights on a 3-hour guided tour in the Denali area. The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) are one of the world's most spectacular natural phenomenons, and Alaska is one of the best places in the world for viewing. Get picked up from your Healy area accommodation in a 15-passenger, climate-controlled van. Journey away from the lights of town in search for the Northern Lights. The area around Denali makes an ideal spot for stargazing and catching the sometimes elusive Aurora Borealis. Your Alaskan guide will provide commentary and conversation on the area's unique history, formidable climate, dynamic geography, separate scientific facts and fictional myth as you travel to various spots to get the best view.  At each predetermined viewing area, take an opportunity to step outside and stretch your legs, sip a warm complimentary drink, and learn how the Ligh...

Jordan was a great guide. We had a KP index of 1 and we still able to see the Northern Lights. Jordan moved to different areas to make sure we were able to see them. Thank you Jordan!

The total tour route covers about 10 miles with 1.5 hours on the trails. Tour length is about 2.5 hours from pickup to drop-off.

This was the highlight of our Alaska trip! I never had so much fun driving in my 82 years as I did behind the wheel of this ATV! My husband said my smile never left my face! I was fortunate to be right behind the guide, so I was not afraid following her! And I kept up! The scenery was beautiful! I enjoyed the stops and the history, short talks and information the guides presented. We got our money's worth! That's for sure! So glad I got to mark this off my bucket list! I would do again in a heart beat! Wonderful guides!

The Stampede Trail gained notoriety in 1996 from the best-selling novel “Into The Wild” by Jon Krakauer, and subsequently, from the critically acclaimed motion picture directed by Sean Penn. This is the very same trail that Christopher McCandless, subject of the book and movie, took to enter the wilds of Alaska. The first few miles of the Stampede Road are paved, but beyond this point, your guide will take you along...

We enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very friendly and positive, took us to his favorite spot where the view of Aurora Borealis was really spectacular. He even took pictures for us as not all cameras are friendly to take night shots. We highly recommend Healy Denali Aurora Quest tour to all.
