  • Denali National Park: Wilderness ATV Adventure

    1. Denali National Park: Wilderness ATV Adventure

Set off on a fun-filled adventure in Alaska. Whether a novice or expert ATVer, this tour sets you up for a memorable experience in the Alaskan wilderness on your own automatic single ATV or multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Riding along trails surrounded by Denali National Park, at speeds up to 30 mph, your adventure includes breathtaking 360° overlook stops with views of the Alaska Range, Otto Lake, and the Healy Valley. Navigate through rocky creek beds and even spend time splashing through the water (weather dependent). Knowledgeable guides will lead you through the rugged terrain and provide opportunities for photography. Wildlife is abundant — watch out for moose on the trail. The total tour route covers about 10 miles with 1.5 hours on the trails. Tour length is about 2.5 hours from pickup to drop-off.

This was the highlight of our Alaska trip! I never had so much fun driving in my 82 years as I did behind the wheel of this ATV! My husband said my smile never left my face! I was fortunate to be right behind the guide, so I was not afraid following her! And I kept up! The scenery was beautiful! I enjoyed the stops and the history, short talks and information the guides presented. We got our money's worth! That's for sure! So glad I got to mark this off my bucket list! I would do again in a heart beat! Wonderful guides!

  • Healy: Denali Backcountry Safari

    2. Healy: Denali Backcountry Safari

You and a small group of fellow adventurers will ride aboard a rugged 6-wheel drive army truck on a spectacular off-road journey into Denali’s backcountry. Your adventure begins near the entrance to Denali National Park, where you meet your driver-guide and head deep into the Alaskan bush. Your destination is the Stampede Trail. Not shown on most maps, this forgotten road was carved out of the wilderness by the early miners of the Kantishna region, seeking gold and antimony. The Stampede Trail gained notoriety in 1996 from the best-selling novel “Into The Wild” by Jon Krakauer, and subsequently, from the critically acclaimed motion picture directed by Sean Penn. This is the very same trail that Christopher McCandless, subject of the book and movie, took to enter the wilds of Alaska. The first few miles of the Stampede Road are paved, but beyond this point, your guide will take you along...

It would be vastly improved if you would speak knowledgeably about the biology and ecology of the tundra . The migration, the mountains and the streams

Fun experience! The ATV ride was definitely nice with a beautiful scenery. Would surely recommend this activity and the guides were great too!

We enjoyed very much so lucky my son helped me as interpreter in ASL. We were loving views and adventures. Thanks so much

Friendly people and good experience overall

I would suggest, after a cold ride, serving hot tea or hot chocolate. Not everyone cares for coffee.
