In Helsinki the tram line 7 goes directly to Terminal 2 at the port. Arrived in Tallinn after a 2 hour crossing. The time until the departure of the ferry was sufficient for a tour of the city. The Christmas market was very nice. Be sure to go to the viewpoint. From there you have a wonderful view of the entire city.

That was a totally successful trip! The ferry can be described as a cruise ship as far as the offer is concerned. Many bars and two floors offer shopping. The 2 hour drive has passed both times as if in flight! However, you have to be there early enough, with us the ferry left both times 15 minutes earlier. Tallinn is definitely worth a day, a beautiful town! We were 6 people (from 28 - 62) and absolutely thrilled!

The ferry over to Tallinn from Helsinki was very comfortable. It is more comfortable and less crowded in the upper deck. Tallinn is definitely worth the visit. It is a beautiful medieval town. I wanted to see all of the sights as I only had one day and left the market until the end. Unfortunately, it started raining, and everyone closed up at the market early so I really didn't get to buy anything. Also found out that the market closes around 6:00 pm. So if you want to buy something at the market I would buy it earlier. They had amazing prices at the market and had many items you could not buy in Helsinki. Absolutely loved Tallinn & was definitely worth the visit!
