Beautiful turquoise blue clear water. You have to swim to the island, but with a life jacket it's super easy. Unfortunately you can only visit the beach there and nothing more. It gets very rocky towards the island. Suitable swimming shoes would be an advantage. Otherwise everything was super organized and good food on the boat! The island is definitely worth a visit.

They were very punctual both on the outward and return journeys. The guide was exhaustive even though she went into great lengths on describing the food that can be purchased on the boat but didn't mention anything about the history of the island. It is worth taking the hike if you are able to swim to the beach otherwise it gets boring. The boat is big, you have to get there as soon as possible to get the best seats

Count 3 hours by bus from Heraklion but it's worth it (if you're lucky enough to have good weather). The island is superb (turquoise water) and the boat approaches in order to access it by swimming. You can eat on the boat and the guide is great. Go for it!
