Kotor: Blue Cave Private Boat Tour

4. Kotor: Blue Cave Private Boat Tour

This tour includes cruising around the Bay of Kotor, in which you will enjoy panoramic views of the fishing villages, churches, and many more historical monuments.  Your first stop is at an islet in the middle of Boka Bay known as "Our Lady of the Rocks". Legend says that this artificial island was created from stones local fishermen put upon a specific rock where shipwrecked crewmen found the icon of Madonna and Child. The church there was built in her honor. The interior of this 15th-century church features a marble altar holding an icon of Our Lady of the Rocks made by Lovro Dobric (a famous Balkan painter), as well as 68 paintings by Tripo Kokolja, including the famous The Death of the Virgin. Your Kotor Bay tour continues with a cruise to Tivat Bay where you will see an exclusive marina for mega yachts — Porto Montenegro. Continue to Herceg Novi Bay with its Byzantine and oriental architectural styles, and then onto island Mamula. You will also visit an ex-submarine military base. Your next stop is reserved for taking a refreshing swim in the mesmerizing Blue Cave, which can only be accessed by boat. The boat is equipped with soft and comfortable seat cushions, as well as refreshing cold drinks.

What people are saying about Herceg Novi Municipality

It was incredible !! The staff were so helpful and really welcoming. The actual event and boat ride was so fun and so relaxing, you didn’t feel rushed at all ! Our captain Andrea was great !! Overall I can’t say enough good things about the tour and the staff involved . 100% would recommend it to EVERYONE. Beautiful way of seeing the ocean with great people!!

Loved the tour. Amazing views from the boat and the submarine tunnels were amazing. Guide was great and although we weren’t able to see the blue cave due to highly choppy seas, they offered to take us to old town Kotor instead.

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on I went on a sunny Tuesday, and the views were amazing and the tour guide himself was so informative. The caves were beautiful a must see spot, I can’t wait to come back.

Vasily was a great driver and guide! There was only two of us (me and my friend) because of low season, and it was really nice to have a yacht and the whole bay exclusively!

Amazing trip & super exciting! Seeing Blue Cave and old submarine tunnels really a great experience!
