Fun, relaxing, pleasant, safe and educational bike tour

This was a great tour with Steve, our geologist bike tour guide and George, our van driver and gear guy. Steve and George were most pleasant and helpful. The weather was cool and misty and some rain but expected when in a rainforest area. The lunch at the end of the tour was tasty with great scenery while overlooking the basaltic cliffs with crashing ocean. The bike portion of tour was easy paced with two short hills that were challenging for some but you can walk up the hill if necessary. We stopped frequently at points of interest around the volcano. The bikes are hybrids with plenty of gears, hand brakes, comfy seats and good quality. Overall memorable tour and highly recommend it.

I LOVED this activity so much...seeing Volcanoes National Park from the perspective of bike riding is way different than driving your car from parking lot to the next parking lot. You see so much more...and don't have to wait for the next open parking spot. Following the app was a tad bit tricky...we missed the bike trail opening near the end to get back to starting location and had to backtrack slightly - okay maybe we saw a couple of locations more than once. LOL

Very informative and the time was managed well

Our guides were excellent - good team. What I enjoyed most was the time they spent telling us about the history behind the flows and the future expectations. I highly recommend the tour. Well worth the price.
