1. Hiroshima: Hiroshima and Miyajima World Heritage Tour
First stop is a tour through the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. Here, you will learn the horrors of the atomic bomb and how the people of Hiroshima coped with the tragedy. Feel the breeze as you go up to the Orizuru Tower's observatory area. Here you can get a wide view of the city. The Orizuru (paper crane) is considered as a symbol of peace; learn how to make one and make a wish. At the top of the Orizuru Tower, you'll enjoy a lunch of local cuisine. After lunch, your guide will take you to see the Aorigi Tree, which brought hope after the atomic bomb. Then visit the Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn more about Japanese life and feel the revival of the city. You will then take a ferry across the water to Miyajima, where you will visit the famous Torii gate and Itsukushima shrine.
