We had a fantastic time on this tour. Jack, our guide was brilliant. He was friendly and knowledgeable and took good care of us. We were sorry to say goodbye! The mekong delta is a fascinating place and there was so much of interest to see without feeling rushed. Would recommend this tour without hesitation. Big thanks to Jack and our bus driver

Excellent but expensive.

guide spoke little english and the places we visited felt inauthentic

The overall experience was very average. It was interesting that we were able to see the industrial side of the Mekong Delta, but when we think of the Mekong we think of its natural beauty and rawness. The places we were taken to felt very touristic, overcrowded, staged, daggy and inauthentic. Our guide spoke very basic english and lacked enthusiasm too. Highlight was bike riding through a Mekong village. This was the time when we could see the lush and fertile scenery/lifestyle in its natural form. The lunches provided were also excellent. Lowlight was the old house, the folk singers and the pagoda. All very slow and pointless. If you are planning on seeing the Mekong, i would recommend another tour that covers its rawness and explores authentic villages/practices/farms.
