Full description

Be collected from your accommodation then head to Cu Chi. Along the way, watch as the frantic city scenery transitions into a more peaceful rural setting. See the rice paddy farms, quaint roadside vendors, and increasingly lush greenery.  Once you arrive, begin with a tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network of pathways, hideouts, sleeping quarters, meeting rooms, hospitals, and Hoang Cam Stove. These narrow tunnels provide barely enough space for a single person to crawl their way through, though some are now wider to accommodate visitors. Learn that the mere 10 to 13 feet (3 to 4 meter) thick level of upper soil can support the bearing weight of a 55 ton (50 metric ton) tank and the explosive damage of bombs.  Watch an insightful film about the wartime experience before further exploring the tunnel's trap doors and underground quarters. Then make a visit to huge bomb craters left from the war, the Garment-factory Ammunition and Souvenir Shops, and the Museum of Self-made Weapons. Get the exhilarating opportunity to fire an M-15, AK-47, and a carbine rifle at the National Defense Sports Shooting Range for a true wartime experience (extra for shooting gun). Finally, savor local tapioca before the comfortable ride back to Ho Chi Minh City. Head to a local foot massage parlor to treat your feet after a long day of walking in the Cu Chi Tunnels. After the massage, be taken back to your accommodation.

Our tour guide was wonderful and very informative, plus entertaining! However, whoever organised the day screwed up multiple times where we were initially put on the wrong tour and wasted an hour of our morning before returning to the main office, and then the company organised no transport for us to return from the Cu Chi Tunnels and we were stuck waiting for an hour before our lovely tour guide organised a Grab for us back to Ho Chi Minh City. We would 100% recommend the tour guide, but unfortunately not the company.

The Cu Cui Tunnels were a great experience and very enlightening. The venue was quite busy when we went but we were rushed through by our guide and got to experience it all, the constant noise of the guns being fired certainly helped with the ambience. Crawling through one of the tunnels was incredible, how they managed day in and day out is infathomable

The Representative from the Tours was very friendly. The Guide was very knowledgeable. He explained every bit about the Tunnels & the history of the Vietnam War. I really enjoyed the trip & I would recommend my friends & colleagues to of course visit Vietnam but choose this tour option for Chu Chi Tunnels.
