Full description
The day starts with hotel pick up at 8:00 AM for the morning tour and 1:00 PM for the afternoon tour. Enjoy a scenic drive northwest towards the Cambodian border while learning about the history of this 125-mile network of subterranean passages.
Upon arrival, watch a short documentary on the tunnels and the pivotal role they played before climbing inside to see trap doors, storage facilities, weapons factories, and kitchens used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.
After the tour, enjoy a light local snack of rice tapioca and hot tea – foods many relied upon during the war, and even have the opportunity to fire an AK-47 or M16 at a nearby shooting range (entrance to shooting range not included in tour price). Hotel drop-off will be at 2:00 PM for the morning tour and 7:00 PM for the afternoon tour.
