Admire the pristine beauty of Pirates Bay, Eaglehawk Neck, and Norfolk Bay. Visit Tasman National Park, where you’ll marvel at the spectacle of Tasman Arch and enjoy superb views of the rugged coastline. You’ll be amazed at the magnitude of the Devil's Kitchen! Finally, you’ll have a chance to explore Port Arthur, where you’ll take a guided walking tour of the historic convict site, with access to over 30 restored buildings and ruins. Thankful that we picked the full day tour because you really needed the entire day to explore the Port Arthur Historic site. The full day gave us a deeper exploration into Port Arthur and Tasmania’s overall history. If you are lucky you will get Mark as your guide who was super informative, helpful and overall a fantastic guide! The full day tour includes some stop overs into Richmond and a few breath taking look outs. Overall I highly highly recommend a tour as you will learn way much more than you would if you went on your own.

We were so looking forward to the Port Arthur tour, however by the time we got there it was pouring with rain. We couldn’t hear what the tour guide was saying over the rain beating down on our umbrellas and by the time she finished speaking it only left us with about 30 mins to explore the site (which takes much longer than that), before we got on the ferry however you couldn’t see anything out of the windows due to the rain. It was disappointing but we will definitely be back to finish off what we didn’t get to see. Our tour guide Nigel was such a lovely man, he had quite a lot of knowledge about the area and took us to some nice little places on the way back.
