Picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off in Hoi An whee we met our chef and tour guide. Had sometime to shop through the local market (and we were able to buy a few things too). The boat ride and bamboo boat were such a fun little treat. Our tour guide was so friendly and spoke amazing English! And the food, WOW. Delicious. We made apron rolls, beef pho, Chicken curry and and papaya salad.:: we even got the recipes to try to make at home. A wonderful way to spend half the day in hoi an and enjoy some culture!

An interesting and enjoyable mix of activities

Since this was called a cooking tour it would have been better to focus more on the market portion of the tour with an introduction to the types of dishes where various spices, herbs and other ingredients are used and less on other things like basket boat and buffalo ride. Also would have preferred more variety of cooking - example - appetiser+soup+main+dessert rather than multiple pancakes.

Good times

It was very nice of Sabirama to still run the experience even though I was the only person on the tour. I took a motorboat to a basket boat to a very short cart pulled by an ox to arrive at the cooking school. The foot massage was very good and then I was greeted by the chef, who at first seemed a bit cold but warmed up by the end. I learned how to cook all the dishes listed and ate them so do not eat before going. I was happy the basket boat ride was short because the sun and heat were intense that morning then ox cart seemed a bit redundant being such a short distance to the school but I still enjoyed meeting him.
