Full description
After departing Hoi An, cruise in a boat transfer for about 1 hour on the Thu Bon river. Arrive at a small village in the middle of the delta to begin your cycling tour. The tour goes for about 23 kilometers (15 miles) and includes plenty of stops with no traffic. Spend the morning cycling 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) across the countryside and rice fields. Cross from island to island with the bridges or a local boat, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. A short boat crossing brings you to a small island for lunch with a local family. In the afternoon, explore the local crafts and learn how the wooden river boats are made. Discover the secrets of weaving the colorful straw from traditional sleeping mats, and try the renowned local basket boats.

Very nice tour. Seen a lot that you would otherwise not see from the countryside. A woman who prepares noodles perfectly, an elderly woman of 93 who still weaves bamboo mats, an old Vietnamese original house, various bamboo bridges to cycle over and rice fields to cross and other details. The tour guide made the tour complete. Very nice girl and boy who could tell everything nice.

Experiencing the everyday lives of the vietnamese people

Educational learning a little about the lives of the rural communities and how they live. Participating in traditional vietnamese cooking 'rice paper' and learning about the 'stilling' of King cobra snake wine at 65% and sampling..." fully understanding why the pigs were so called 'Happy Pigs'.... The tour and the programme were very informative, entertaining and educational. Lola & Lucky...awesome tour guides as well as being our hosts and friends for the day Thankyou
