What people are saying about Honokaa

The tour was really good and specially for our tour guide Brett. It was raining that day amd the visibility was really low, so we could not go to the active volcano but to make it up he drove us to the solidified lava fields and also showed us another dormant crater. He provided us with snacks, umbrellas and rain jackets and took very good care of us. The two waterfalls Akaka and Rainbow falls were amazing. We went to the big island just to see the active volcano, too bad it was raining… wish we could still walk up there. Other than that th whole tour was fun.

A great way to see the island if you are short of time on your trip. We had a great guide (Brett) who was really knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the island, it’s history and the volcanos. It’s a long day but the bus is comfortable, the food and snacks were good and we got to drive around the whole island with some interesting stops. I would recommend.

David was a fantastic tour guide! He has a great way of delivering the story & kept it interesting on the very long trip. The trip encompasses all of the things you hope to see during your stay, well worth one of your full days on the Big Island.

Loved the different scenery. Our guide was wonderful and caring. Highly recommend this tour.

Guide was incredible and given ample time to experience all stops.
