The tour was fantastic! A great flavour of the hunter valley. We got a good amount of wine - safe to say the group was very tipsy by the end of the tour! My favourite part was the chocolate and wine pairings, so glad we booked this tour to experience that. The tour guide was really friendly and gave us some good information. Journey there and back is about 2 1/12 hours. Only negative is for this journey length and the early start, I think it would have been good to have some breakfast pastries (nothing fancy) and a drink for the journey. Most of us hadn’t eaten and lunch wasn’t until midday. Otherwise, couldn’t fault the tour!

Had such a great day! We had 3 wine tastings and also enjoyed some gin, vodka and liquor tastings which was fun. My favourites we’re definitely the cheese and chocolate pairings Everything was organised perfectly and well guided by Todd our driver. I would 100% recommend this tour if you’re visiting Sydney, even if you don’t really love wine, like me. The Hunter valley is beautiful and the cheese and chocolate pairings were definitely a game changer. We even bought some wines to take home and have a go at pairing ourselves!

Our guide, Ander, did an excellent job of explaining what we were viewing, and driving through traffic and the scenic countryside. He was well informed and enthusiastic and made our day very enjoyable. He also knew quite a bit about wine making and made an effort to point out wildlife along the way. We enjoyed delightful tastings in three wineries, one including cheese and the other chocolate, and a distillery tasting with an amazing assortment of shimmering vodkas and gins. There was an excellent lunch included with a selection of five entrees plus any beer, wine or other alcoholic or non alcoholic beverage on the menu to choose from .. Ander pre ordered the main for us. The group had ten people ‘not six or less’ as advertised, but the outing didn’t seem rushed or crowded. More clarity re choice of possible pick up places would be good. We found the excursion to be good value and a most worthwhile and fun whole day out trip from Sydney.
