See the wonders of ancient Cairo on this full-day excursion. Choose between a private or shared small-group tour to discover Egypt's capital city with an Egyptologist as your guide. Visit the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, the Egyptian Museum and the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar.

Board your transport vehicle at your hotel and relax or take a nap in the reclining seat as you head to Cairo. Once you arrive, meet your Egyptologist tour guide who will take you straight to the world-famous Giza Plateau. 

Marvel at the Giza pyramids, the final resting place of the ancient pharaohs and one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. See the world-famous Great Sphinx and wander through the Valley Temple, learning about the history of the place from your guide along the way.  

Stop for lunch in a local restaurant, before visiting the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, also known as the Egyptian Museum. Explore the over 120,000 antiquities and pieces of Egyptian art in this wonderful museum, built in a neoclassical style.

Towards the end of the tour, visit the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, where you can enjoy the ambience of the old city. Take a stroll through the market and be amazed by the variety of souvenirs, antiques, and jewellery on sale. Finally, take an air-conditioned ride back to your hotel.

The day trip with our tour guide Mohammed Fathi was great! We had enough time to look at everything and discovered some very nice spots. Pickup was easy and great! If anyone wants to take a day trip to Cairo, I can only warmly recommend it. Thank you for the beautiful day !

First of all, I have to say that we really like this all-round package. The contact had already taken place 2 days earlier via WhatsApp. However, I have to differentiate the arrival + tour: My wife, our son (15) and I were picked up at our hotel in Hurghada at 2:00 am sharp. In Hurghada, surprisingly, we changed to an Egyptian intercity bus. Our driver organized the tickets +more information. From that moment on we were on our own. The bus ride was very interesting for us: We liked it very much, but I would advise against this cross-country trip with smaller children. In Cairo we were greeted by Shahiera, our guide. Our vehicle was new + air-conditioned. Immediately we went to Giza. We also got a nice city tour (including explanation) through this mega city. Incredible excursion with a very nice private driver and very good driving with little attentions all along the way (drinks, food, breaks on request). Arrived in Cairo our private guide Ayman Wadie (Facebook: Cairo Guide) gave us a magical tour of all the site of the Giza pyramids (photographs, panoramic views, tips for scams on the site, negotiation with the seller memories). He is a very good guide who speaks very good French and shares his passion for the history of Egypt with us. A truly amazing guide that we recommend. The driver follows us throughout the day with a very nice spacious and air-conditioned vehicle. The lunch restaurant was very good with Egyptian specialities. In the afternoon we were able to shop as we wish. And we ended up with the Egyptian museum where the guide once again showed us his interest in the history of Egypt.
