What people are saying about Hurghada

Great 1 day activity so make sure you are prepared and have the energy for it. overall the parties involved did a great job organizing it and knew their business. The agency did a good job coordinating everything, apart from a few small communication hiccups. The quad safari was the main highlight of the day. You will have to rent goggles (40LE) and bring something to cover you face, also make sure to wear some long sleeve and pants - mornings are chilly. The boat tour was great too - fun crew who was doing a good job entertaining the guests - chill and fun atmosphere. Snorkeling was great, was getting crowded in the water here and there but you can't avoid that. Snorkeling instructors can help you if you aren't experienced wth it. You could also jump from the boat, they would take pics in the water with GoPro so you can have them for extra charge. We also did some water activities i.e inflatable banana riding etc - added up to the fun. Giftun was nice but it's not much to do there.

The tour starts at 4am, you will be picked up at your accomodation. The driver will drive you to the quad location where you will receive info on how to drive a quad bike. You have to wear a protective mask or sunglasses with a scarf to be protected from the sand. If you don't have it, you can rent those for 10 euros and later keep the scarf. The quad ride is breathtaking, you visit a few locations to catch the sunrise and to experience the magic of the desert. After the ride is over, you will be transported back to your accomodation. A new ride will pick you up around 8:30 and take you to the boat location. The boat cruise is awesome (please wear sunscreen), the tourguides Ibrahim and Mogli were especially good. You spend two hours at Giftun Island (Paradise beach), after which you are taken to two snorkeling locations. Between the two snorkeling sessions, you are greeted with a lovely lunch on the boat. At the end, you will be transported back to the accomodation.

Very good quad and buggy tour in the Makadi desert at sunset, on the other hand the tour was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. but it was postponed at the last moment at 5 p.m. and we had to share our buggy together when I thought that we were going to have one each (we had a quad each after the buggy session which lasted 20 min ...) they scrape you tips by giving you change half euro and half Egyptian pound be careful do not take the euro take only the Egyptian pound

Our guide and the whole team were amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, they were all sooo nice and respectful, fun. I recommend you to take this trip with them, you will not regret it, they’re amazing people
